Profile
Strengthening your primary relationship is an investment in your health.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado since 1998. For over 2 decades, I’ve provided relationship help to couples and individuals. My approach blends warmth, curiosity, directness, and compassion with effective, evidence-based therapeutic modalities. My passion for strengthening and restoring healthy relationships is at the core of all of my work.

If you and your partner are feeling undervalued, misunderstood, unseen, or lonely, couples therapy can help you reconnect and finally stop the blame game.  If you and your partner are doing well but are facing a major transition, couples therapy can assist you in staying strong and connected as you navigate changes.

The goals of my work with couples are to help you become allies vs. adversaries and to help you become experts on each other so that you can be in each other's care. Through greater understanding of old injuries and ongoing cycles of hurt and misattunement, you will learn and practice how to make repairs and how to make each other feel safe and cherished. You will learn how to fight well using principles of fairness, sensitivity, and mutuality.

As a couples therapist, I am an investigator, guide, teacher, and collaborator, rather than a mediator or referee. My focus is creating safe, secure relationships which lead to comfort, excitement and fulfillment. My hope is that your secure foundation with your partner will have a positive ripple effect in your world.

I am a wife, mom, and most recently, a grandma(!). These cherished relationships are integral to my learning, growth, thriving, and who I am as a therapist. In addition, my relationship training over the years has been deeply enhanced by a longtime study and practice of mindfulness, especially Vipassana meditation.
